The Ventura Olympic Canoe Club was represented at the US Canoe and Kayak Sprint Nationals for the first time in close to two decades this past August. Two Senior Master canoe paddlers raced for VOCC and together brought home five gold and three silver medals, earning 5th Place for the club in the Masters division overall. This is largely due to not enough competition in Masters honestly. We hope to change that by bringing more of the former VOCC paddlers back to the races in the coming years, as well as recruiting new people.
