If you use the PayPal Giving Fund button below, we do not get any money taken out of the donation! (This path does require that you have a PayPal account however.) Directions for using credit cards or checks are provided below, too.
Our club is run completely by volunteers — no one earns a paycheck here. As such, dues and donations are critical for our sustainability. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and donations are tax deductible.
Donations by Credit Card
Through PayPal we can accept donations via credit card. (Note that we are charged a processing fee for such donations.)

Our dues are currently set at $20/month by our Board. Dues pay for our dry storage fees at the Ventura Harbor and maintenance on boats. Club members are expected to purchase their own life jackets and paddles in the first year with the club and to work on obtaining their own boats in following years. Dues are low intentionally to help members save for purchasing their own equipment and cover race fees.
All Club Members will receive invoices to pay their club dues quarterly with due dates being the 1st of December, March, June, and September. A prorated amount will be charged if you join prior to the quarterly payment dates. Dues are collected year round.
Club dues are best paid via ACH payments as we incur only a 1% processing fee and the payments are automatically drawn from your bank but you may also pay with credit cards. Alternatively, you may pay us via checks made out to “Venture Canoe & Kayak Club.”
We also frequently have active VCKC branded clothing and gear for sale on Bonfire which provides us with a small proceeds from each sale.
We put different items up throughout the year.
